How to Donate to the ReStore:                                                                                

• First check to see if ReStore is able to accept your donation by using our list of guidelines below.

• Drop off your donation at our Lexington Park ReStore location during store hours (see hours above).

• Or call 301-737-6273 to schedule an appointment for us to pickup your donation.

(Note: We ask for a $10 donation for all pick up appointments. Thank you for your support)

All donations are tax deductible. We will provide you with a donation receipt for tax purposes.

 Donation Guidelines:

All donations must be clean and in good working order.

We accept the following items.

Appliances- We accept appliances that are clean and in 100% working order. We would greatly appreciate the owner's manual if you still have them; they add value to your donation.
Cabinets-We accept cabinets in complete units with doors, shelving, display racks, etc. in tact.
Doors-We accept doors in good condition only.
Electrical Parts- we accept wire, plugs, plates and the hardware associated with electrical wiring.
Fans-We accept complete fans in working order.
Flooring-We accept some carpet in good condition.  We will accept sheets of vinyl flooring and 40 sq. feet or more of tiles and wood.
Furniture- We accept furniture that is clean and in saleable condition.
Hardware-We accept hardware for doors, cabinets, etc.
Lighting-We accept all light fixtures in working condition.
Lumber-We accept full and1/2 sheets of plywood. We accept full lengths of lumber. We will accept trim in 4 foot pieces or longer
Mirror/Glass-Mirror and glass is accepted if certain conditions apply. Please call prior to donating these items.
Paint-We will take full containers of latex paint.  We cannot take toxic, hazardous substances, (i.e.pesticides, powders, paint thinners, or other chemicals). Wallpaper is taken in full-unopened rolls.
Pipe-We accept 4' and over of any type of pipe, and all supplies and fittings.
Plumbing -We accept tubs, sinks and vanities if they are in good condition and clean. We accept commodes only if they are "low-flow".
Roofing Material-We accept all types of roofing material such as rolled roofing material, tar, metal roofing, bundles of new shingles. We also accept roofing gutter/canale materials that are in full pieces and in good condition.
Tools-We accept all hand and power tools in working condition.
Windows & Screens-We accept DOUBLE PANE windows of all types if the glass is intact. Most windows will show use, even if they are newer. If they are casement type, we appreciate having the hardware and cranks.
